West Northamptonshire Council Unitary and Parish Council elections will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025. You will be able to vote for candidates to fill:

  • all parish council seats (if contested)
  • all of West Northamptonshire Council’s seats (1 May elections will elect 76 councillors to represent 35 wards)

The Notice of Election will be published on Friday 14 March 2025. For the full list of deadlines please visit the website above.

The Church of St. Mary the Virgin with St. John, Great Brington:
This is the Parish Church for the Bringtons and Nobottle which forms part of a Benefice of 6 Parishes, the other 5 being:

St. Andrew’s: Harlestone
St. Mary the Virgin: East Haddon with Holdenby
St. Botolph’s: Church Brampton
St. Andrew’s: Whilton
All Saints: Norton

Details of Services are provided in the Church porch and are also given on email on a weekly basis. The Church is normally open very day from around 9am. till dusk.

History of the Parish

The Parish covers an area of some 3,000 acres and contains two villages, Great and Little Brington, and the hamlet of Nobottle.
